We all got to the trailhead and it was very lightly drizzling. The forecast made it seem that it was going to either clear up or stay at that rate of rainfall so we continued on with our hike. We got about 1.25 miles up and heavy downpour began making the trail slick. Due to the steepness of the trail we collectively decided to turn back to avoid potential injury. We went to Pocketstone in Bigfork and finished the day off as a lovely social brunch. Have some photos from this event that you'd like to share in our photo album? Please forward them to Tim Anderson at twamontana@gmail.com. Please note that we prefer to receive the photos in approximately 640x480 or 750x500 pixels - do NOT send original high-res photos. If you have a LOT of photos, please submit up to twenty of your favorites (only) for a day event, or up to forty of your favourites for a multi-day event. Thank you. |
