Write Up:
Denis Twohig, Paul Cogswell, Jerry Moore, Corwyn Wyman, Carrie Eklund, Laurel Vielle, Jim Schroeder, Ralph Thornton and Ronnie Laudati all reached the summit of Amphitheater. After walking a few miles on the trail we started up the ridge and had some great views into the surrounding area. We worked our way up through easy cliffs to gain the final ridge to the summit. Seven of us continued to Medicine Owl. We worked our way down the ridge to drop into the saddle before the walk up to Medicine Owl. We had great views in all directions. We then had to reverse direction and get back to the saddle below Amphitheather. From there we dropped while traversing and made our way back to the trail for our walk out.
