Write Up:
Fun day with great group of GMS'ers. We saw a moose on the drive up, a black bear on the drive out, and fresh bear tracks in the snow led us for about a half a mile early on. The creek crossing to get to Wam was too high, deemed too dangerous, so we satisfied ourselves with an awesome hike up Stahl for which more than half the time was spent negotiating deep snow and downed tree piles on the trail. What fun! :-)
