Write Up:
Rob and Xander joined us to the top of Columbia. Dirt bikers had cleared all trees to this point. Then, Jeremy and Dabney headed over to Doris. Some remaining downfall, but all very passable. The glacier lily field on the last pitch to Doris was gorgeous! And great views at the top! Weather cooperated well with mild temps in the 60's and a light breeze. Stuck to our training time frame and maintained a 2.5 mile / hr pace overall. **Note** Full mileage to Columbia / Doris and back was 19.5 miles (not the 18 mentioned in the original posting). Elevation gain was as expected - 6,332 ft.
