Write Up:
On February 11th thirteen amazing athletes descended upon Warner, Alberta where they got in some early season training while throwing 44 lb granite rocks at the Curling event. While skill and strategy never really came into play, Frank Weselovski, Brian Kennedy, Larry Sandefur, Rick and Shelly Thomas, Gary and April Seubert, Ken and Carol McDermott, Tim and Debbie Anderson, and Del and Gail Meuchel all had a great time learning the great Canadian sport of Curling. While official scorekeeper Frank Weselovski claims his "Team USA"' which also included Brian and Larry, are off to the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, Russia! Many wonder if his " Bellyslide" delivery will get him the gold. A great time was had by all and hopefully this will become a yearly event.
