Write Up:
Photo by Randy Phillips GMS members; Al Hofmeister, Brian Kennedy,Frank Wesolovski,Randy Briles,Richard Phillips, and Dick Anderson came along for a great day in Glacier. The weather was dry but overcast which helped to keep the snow in good condition. We had dry rock on the 4th class ridge up to the summit. We descended toward the NE taking the left hand ridge toward The Little Matterhorn. To drop into the upper Synder basin we traversed a few hundred yards easterly to avoid some hanging snow fields and waterfalls. After a few zig zags down and though some ledges, we got a nice glissade and fairly open route down to the lower Synder Lake and the easy trail back home. Thanks to all and for the weather giving us the best conditions.
