An excellent early summer day. Not too hot, fair weather and few bugs. We walked up the snowmobile road that ascends the South Fork of Waldron creek until just below the unnamed lake at the head of that basin. We then gained the ridge to the south and followed a good game trail to the crest of the range just north of Teton Peak and then followed the narrow ridge to the summit. We started early, made good time and decided to spend an hour enjoying the summit with clear skies, puffy white clouds and a cool breeze. Along for the trip were Allison and Steve Milodragovich, David Shuler, Denise and Joe Grabowski. After the trip we enjoyed a pot luck dinner at the Elko campground. Denise and I climbed Teton last year via the Route Creek Pass trail. Although we both found this to be a very nice way to go the route described above is much shorter and direct. Link for photos from the trip. Thanks to David for putting these together. https://picasaweb.google.com/glaciermountaineers/RockyMtFrontRangeTetonPeak# Have some photos from this event that you'd like to share in our photo album?
