Write Up:
Ptarmigan Spire was over-subscribed so I elected to lead a group of 6 on the pre-cimb on July 22nd and another group of 4 on Aug.4th. We had great weather on both climbs. It’s not an easy climb – much of it being full on Class 4 – but everyone did well on the testy sections and soaked in the views from this spectacular vantage point on the north end of the Ptarmigan Wall.
