A little disappointed, a bear had set up residence at the outlet of Hidden using all the cutthroat there as his personal kitchen. So the trail was closed and we did not have access to Bearhat. Most of us still met and decided to climb Dragon's Tail instead. It was a gorgeous sunny and and everyone summited. We left the parking lot a little after 8am and were having lunch at the summit by 11:30. On the way back Gerry suggested we take an alternate route and hike the ridge of the outcrop that extends from Reynolds to the Hidden Lake overlook. It was fun.
