Write Up:
An early morning start and a hot day for our hike and climb up to South Iceberg Pk. It was five miles up to the last switchback on the North side of Swiftcurrent Pk. We found the hidden goat trail down to the basin. A short lunch stop by the lake. We hiked up the side of the basin, to a scree slope thru the cliffs. Finally, we enjoyed a nice ridge walk and climb to the small summit just south of Iceberg Pk. A very worthwhile objective according to Gordon Edwards. The stats were 8,840 ft, 3,500 vert. ft, 16 miles 9 1/2 hours.
