Write Up:
We had a perfect day for climbing. Not a cloud in the sky and the smoke from the previous few days had completely cleared out. Our group of 6 left a chilly Logan Pass at 8:30 and quickly reached the trail leading to Reynolds. We then found the coulior leading up to the diagonal and carefully made our way across the north face. Only a few skiffs of snow remained on Reynolds from the previous night, but fresh snow was clearly evident on Gould and Siyeh. Amazing views from the summit, where we viewed another group of GMSers tackling Mt Jackson. A quick scree run down the South Slope brought us back to the trail. By then the boardwalk was crawling with hikers, so we quickly made our way back to the parking lot for cold drinks, chips and dip. A great group and a perfect day for climbing.
