Write Up:
We had a nice skin up the switchback trail in the Jewel Basin to about 6400' where we took a lap down the burn. We trekked back up and over above Camp Misery and skied down another 500'. The skin back up to the ridge took us out to a point where we tried to ski Checkerboard and missed the run resulting in a nasty buschwack down to the road. Still a good time had by all.
