Write Up:
Three years on the winter schedule and three years the weather won. Seven climbers, Jane Holland, Laurie Lintner, Allison Milodragovich, Steve Milodragovich, Greg Kushnak, Don Arthur and Dell Meuchel decide to brave the winter strom warning to get a peak at the Boulder Creek area via Boulder Ridge. At our 9:00am departure time the views were outstanding and the wind down. With Don's trail finding skills we reached the ridge crest and headed west. The snow was deep and the weather warm. At the halfway point (11:30) a light snow began as the promised Canadian cold front arrived. With blizzard conditions predicted and the Many Glacier prone to drift closed we decided to head back. Allison and Steve shared a suprise as they informed us our party of seven was actually nine. Allison is expecting twins in late June or early July. We began to wonder about the guest policy on GMS outtings. As membership chair Don was offering a family deal. We arrived back at the parking area for chips and beverages and headed home. Although short it was a great Glacier day
