Write Up:
Coordinator: Alice Ford Ousel Peak is a great early season conditioning climb and ten GMS members took advantage of the beautiful weather for the outing. Ousel's trail, with many switchbacks through a forested zone, opens up to panoramic views at the ridge toward the summit. After the healthy elevation gain (3910') and several hours of climbing our group enjoyed the vistas of the Park and Great Bear Wilderness, and a leisurely lunch on top.
