Coordinator: Greg Notess Starting from the old town of Elkhorn, our group headed up the old road past several old and new mining sites. As we approached the summit and scrambled across the rocky slopes, it started snowing. By the time we reached the summit cairn, it was a full storm, so we decided not to continue on to Crow Peak. Eight miles and 2,900-foot gain. Climbers were: James Hulvat, Louis Hatch, Pete Pace, Patricia Pace, Cecelia Notess, Greg Notess and Todd Davis. Have some photos from this event that you'd like to share in our photo album? Please forward them to Tim Anderson at twamontana@gmail.com. Please note that we prefer to receive the photos in approximately 640x480 or 750x500 pixels - do NOT send original high-res photos. If you have a LOT of photos, please submit up to twenty of your favorites (only) for a day event, or up to forty of your favourites for a multi-day event. Thank you. |
