The family climb to Apgar Lookout on June 24, 2013 was very well attended by a wide age range of kids. We all started the hike together, but within three minutes the older kids were well ahead with their families while the two-year-olds were busy watching caterpillars. The group photo was taken at the beginning of the hike in anticipation of widely varied hiking speeds, but we all met up at the top for a few minutes. There was delightful camaraderie amongst the kids and even sharing of tasty snacks at the top. Butterflies caused significant angst and delay for two little boys on the decent, but the small cool creeks kept the older kids occupied until we met again at the bottom for tasty post-hike treats. Have some photos from this event that you'd like to share in our photo album? Please forward them to Tim Anderson at twamontana@gmail.com. Please note that we prefer to receive the photos in approximately 640x480 or 750x500 pixels - do NOT send original high-res photos. If you have a LOT of photos, please submit up to twenty of your favorites (only) for a day event, or up to forty of your favourites for a multi-day event. Thank you. |
