Participants:Rich Briles, Warren Lane, Jeremy Rossman, Brian Kennedy

Write Up:
Coordinator: Rich Briles A small but stout and experienced set of climbers met at the Loop and we were on the trail by 0700. We kept a steady pace up to the chalet and down the Highline with only a 20-minute water stop at Ahern Creek. We were on top of Ahern in under four hours, spent another 20-30 minutes there and then on to Ipasha. We summited in about five and a half hours, relaxed and enjoyed a rare windless, clear day on the summit. We shared the summit with four energetic GNP trail crew workers out for a climb on their day off. With thunderheads in the distance, we retraced our steps back over Ahern and scrambled down the western face back to the Highline to make things a bit more interesting. We arrived back at the Loop well before dark, covering the 22-mile, 7,000-foot trek in under 12 hours. Leading this group was easy — all I had to do was point them in the general direction and try to keep up! Climbers were: Jeremy Rossman, Brian Kennedy, Rich Briles and Warren Lane.
