Write Up:
Beautiful sunny day, When we reached the lookout, there was a crew applying a fresh coat of paint. On the way to the summit we missed the simple walk around route and ended up going directly over the first rocky part of the ridge which gave us some interesting challenging climbing with some significant exposure, but everyone made it through just fine. We had some fun with an inquisitive pica that thought Paula's pants would be something good to chew on. On the trail down the huckleberries were out in force so that added about an hour to the trip. After a little tailgate, we headed down to the Lake for a quick dip.
