Coordinator: Don Stolte A great hike from McGinnis Creek up to Standard Peak, a former lookout site, then on to the Smokey Lookout site on trail and ridge. Lots of great flowers and still a few snowbanks. A real neat place to hike because these two spots are easily seen from the valley north of Columbia Falls. Standard Peak is 7,196 feet and Smokey Ridge is 6,650. Just a few pieces of broken glass and wire at Standard and cement bases for Smokey. Smokey was destroyed in 1977.
